On today’s blog i like to share with you some Christmas Inspiration from the newest Winter Tales die collection from Spellbinders! This collection has 4 beautiful die sets and i used three of them! Today is all about the Magical Deer. Let’s get started!
For this card i started off by heating up my Glimmer Hot Foil System Platform. For both cardpanels i used the Precision Layering A2 B Etched Die Set. I went ahead with my distress oxide inks to create the background for the second smallest A2 panel. I used Rustic Wilderness and Twisted Citron Distress oxide ink. Then i used the Christmas Essential Glimmer Rectangles Glimmer Hot Foil Plates along with the Glimmer Hot Foil Roll: Aura Glimmer to get the image hot foil stamped on my second largest panel. I adhered everything on a A2 size top folding Spellbinders Mirror Brushed Gold cardstock card base. Oh My! This cardstock is so beautiful! I love how great both panels matt perfect on the gold card base.
Next step is to die cut al the pieces from the Magical Deer. I used some brown and vanilla cardstock together with some pop of red cardstock and of course I’ve had to make a golden antler! Together with some cute and fine flowers, the Magical Deer is ready to go.
Before i adhered my Deer on the cardpanel i thought it would stand out more with some golden paint splatters. So there you go! All finished.
