Hi everyone! Thank you for joining me today! After a few days with the flue i finally got time to play with the latest release from Lawn Fawn! You can find all the supplies i used for this card down below. For this month’s challenge at Cloud 9 Crafts*, I only used pastel colors. This is something I don’t use often but I’ve come to appreciate it very much!
I started this card with a card base in A2 size from the stripes ’n sprinkles 6×6 petit paper pack from Lawn Fawn. I then added a custom front panel, for which I cut a piece of white cardstock with the largest of the Outside in stitched rectangles from Lawn Fawn.
Then I stamped and colored my images from the Fly High , and Christmas Car Critters add on stamp set with memento tuxedo black ink. I colored them with my Copic markers in Pastel colors. Then i added a piece of acetate behind the stamps to create a ‘ up in the air motion” .
Then i create my rainbow background with the Lawn Fawn Corner Rainbow stencil. I used Pastel colors to match the colored images. For the bigger balloons i also used a piece of acetate to create a illusion of flying balloons.
To finish the interactive part of this card i die cut a piece of acetate to create the pull tab. For some stability i added an extra piece of white cardstock ( that i also blended in the same colors) on the acetate pull ’n tab.
You can see it in the picture below how i put it together.
Then I added some white gelly rol pen on my images to stand out. It was super easy to put everything together. And that finish off my card for today!
Thank you so much for spending time with me. Hopefully I’ll see you next time!
